Before you call
- Water everywhere?Find the main shut-off valve and close it. It is usually near the water meter or where the supply enters the house.
- No heat?Check the thermostat, the boiler pressure gauge, and whether the breaker has tripped, in that order.
- Smell gas?Do not touch switches or light anything. Leave the building and call your gas utility first, then call us.
If the situation is unsafe, get out first and call from outside. Nothing on this page is worth a risk to your family.
